Super Sealed Units Ltd (SSUL) was established in 2011. We are specialists in manufacturing walk on glass floor panels, glass floors, flat rooflights, toughened laminate glass and processing silicone sealed, structural double & triple glazed sealed units. All our units are high quality and energy efficient to BS EN 1279 standards. We design and manufacture all our own products in our in house state of the art manufacturing site. With a fully automatic sealing line, manual handling is kept to a minimum ensuring units are of the highest standard for both the domestic and commercial market.
The insulation provided by the gas filled cavity between the two panels in our units, provide a controlling barrier for heat and sound which, is second to none. Super Sealed has the first fully automated, jumbo sized sealing line in the UK, enabling us to provide a super high quality, consistent finish. Critically important for frameless glass or toggle. Double Glazed Units can be made to an infinite number of shapes, sizes and applications, used on building facades for insulated spaces. The technology creates an insulating panel trapping a gas, or air cavity, between two pieces of glass - these sheets of glass can be toughened or laminated depending on the application.
The methods for precision glass cutting are typically blade or diamond tip cutting and both have historically delivered tight tolerances. When Lisec launched its ground breaking Waterjet Technology it revolutionised the glass processing industry and in 2007 Super Sealed Units was the first Glass Processing Company in the UK to invest in the technology. The method uses sand and water to cut not only edges, but to drill holes, shapes and even cut outs.
