This outstanding structural glass innovation provides a high aesthetic solution combining smooth, clean lines and minimalist looks with maximum visibility and the durability to cope with high traffic areas. Suitable for both external and internal use, the free standing balustrade requires no supporting uprights. Continuous structural glass is fixed in place by aluminium floor channels with integrated rubber seals which insulate the structural glass and eliminate the need for the more traditional messy mastic detail.

Ravensby Glass in association with Screenline can now offer sealed units with integral blinds. Screenline is a revolutionary system that allows blinds to be incorporated inside a sealed unit and operated externally by means of magnet, with no break in the sealed unit seal. The blinds can be raised, lowered or tilted by the magnet, which is operated by either a pull cord or by an external motor. The major benefit of this system is that the blind will never need to be cleaned, and the blind cannot interfere with the cleaning of the glass.

If you demand truly exceptional glazing performance, Ravensby Glass triple glazing simply stands apart. Now you can specify superior thermal insulation and noise reduction combinations of your choice. Ravensby's advanced triple glazed units are engineered to give you a comfortable, secure, quiet, and energy efficient application. With an ever increasing push for more environmentally friendly homes, Triple glazing is becoming more popular in a desperate bid to reduce energy costs and diminish carbon footprint.

With a range of double and tripleglazed units, we can offer Low 'E' coated glass, allowing variable heat and light transmissions to self-cleaning options; also perfect for conservatories. We also offer a wide range of decorative options including Georgian Bar and supply Horticultural Greenhouse glass.

At Ravensby Glass Co Ltd our Colourlite product is manufactured with 6mm Low iron Toughened however we can also offer 6mm Standard Toughened. This glass conforms to all required EN and BS standards. The difference between standard Float and Low Iron is in the colour purity. Float glass has a slight natural green tinge, which may show through varying degrees in the final colour of your splashback. Low Iron glass is clearer / less green and offers a more accurate representation of paint colour. A stylish alternative to tiles and worktops, ‘Colourlite' helps eliminate the need for tiling which means no more discoloured, cracked tiles and mouldy grout.

Horticultural greenhouse glass conducts heat and allows the ultraviolet rays through to your greenhouse. In this way glass helps to heat up the greenhouse during the summer months to almost tropical conditions. Greenhouse glass is intentionally marked or distorted by the manufacturers and will not be of an equivocal quality as float glass. Ravensby Glass also supply 3mm Horticultural Greenhouse glass. Horticultural glass is available in three standard stock sizes, but we can cut to any size or shape from stock.
