Alan, your response to my plea in Christmas week was second to none! I arrived at your place at 10 o'clock on Monday morning, explained that I had no stair carpet in my newly built house, had visitors and house guests arriving over the next couple of days and couldn't face the idea of the bare stairs. At 2 o'clock THAT SAME DAY you arrived with the carpet I picked, and a cheerful and chatty demeanour, and had the job beautifully finished before 4 o'clock. I can't recommend you highly enough.
