Rodtech is owned and run by ex-chimney sweeps and we have designed and manufactured a professional range of chimney sweeping equipment for worldwide use. For many years chimney sweeps have been manually pushing brushes up and down chimneys on rods which screwed together, to scrub the deposits off. This is very tiring work and with stubborn tarry deposits sometimes exceedingly difficult to do, especially as they could only be turned in one direction or the rods would come undone. As well as over seeing the day to day running of Rodtech, Martin is always on hand to answer any technical questions you may have about our equipment or about how to tackle a tricky install you may have come accross.

Our Rodtech Click Rods, have been engineered out of Naval grade brass ferrules with stainless steel springs to fight against corrosion and using the latest Rod Technology which can withstand the harshest of winters (-35 degrees) and yet can be boiled to sterilise them for uses.
