Whilst most of our work is dressing the windows of domestic homes across Shropshire and North Wales, however we also cater for the commercial market, having fitted window dressings to schools, as well as supplying builders with blinds to fit out their show homes for new developments. After working for other blinds companies, Shades founder Phil Lewis set up his own operation from a unit on Maes y Clawdd in Oswestry in 1997. Nowadays, it is often Phil who will measure up and quote your project, whilst his sister Cheryl is operating the shop and is on hand to advice on suitable colours and fabrics for your project.

We have a huge choice of fabrics, materials and styles to choose from and we are confident you will be able to find what you are looking for. We will meet with you to discuss your requirements and measure the windows so that we know your exact requirements from the start of the project. And we'll then fit the blinds for you, all as part of the service. Because each blind is made bespoke for each client to your exact specifications, there is a lead time of approximately 10 days from placing your order to us fitting your blind.
