Laminate flooring has come a very long way since we first began selling it in the late 1990s. Since then we have fitted thousands upon thousands of laminate floors and we've seen the quality and the design come on leaps and bounds. A lot of the early laminate flooring was plastic looking, clearly fake and the joints were barely fit for the purpose. When Quick Step came along with their revolutionary ‘uniclic' joint in 1997 then things really began to improve. Hot on the heels of that came the likes of Balterio and Egger with their own versions and alternative designs.

We don't just mindlessly plaster our shop in samples - we pick the cream of the crop in terms of value, quality and design. All of our fitters are seasoned professionals who have all fitted thousands of floors successfully in their careers. We only work with fitters who we'd be happy to have in our own homes. It's not just about their technical skills though (important as that is), we make sure that we don't have surly, miserable fitters because we want our customers to be pleased with the finished job and also to be absolutely comfortable and trusting of the fitters we use.
