We hired IH Flooring to install the luxury Amtico Signature range throughout our home, expecting high-quality workmanship to match the premium product. Unfortunately, the installation did not meet our expectations. The installer used a cutter directly on the flooring without proper measurements, leaving visible surface scratches especially noticeable in sunlight. Within three months, bubbles began forming on the ground floor.

On the first floor, the installation creaks in several areas. We believe this is due to poor nailing of the plywood underfloor they installed during prep. Though IH Flooring attempted a repair, new bubbles reappeared shortly after, the creakins has worsened and screw-heads bumps become visibile on the floor.

Regrettably, despite the Amtico quality itself, were very disappointed with the installation. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend IH Flooring at all.

We chose amtico flooring for our new ensuite and downstairs cloakroom. IH flooring were excellent in helping us and Clyde came and did an excellent job of fitting the flooring.

We hired IH Flooring to install solid wood tumbled parquet blocks on the ground floor of our 1930s home. Their price was competitive with three other flooring companies in Bristol that we also contacted, and we were impressed by their professionalism before the project began. Their actual work on the project went very smoothly, and Dominique, who handled the installation, was a pleasure to have around.

He did an excellent job, and the result is a truly stunning floor.

Overall, we highly recommend IH Flooring, as they have been flawless from the initial sales to the installation and after-sales service.

We are really pleased with the wood floor sanding and carpets fitted by IH Flooring. The shop staff were really helpful and the guys that carried out the work were great. We would definitely recommend.

I couldnt rate IH flooring more highly. Very good customer service at all stages and I love my new floor. They were extremely patient as choosing the flooring I wanted seemed to be a lengthy process for me. I would recommend IH Flooring as overall service and product comes out at a very competitive price.

Outstanding craftsmanship, an incredibly supportive team. The installation was superb, and we are delighted with the outcome of the new carpet throughout our home.

I had some carpet fitted for both my stairs and landing and I can say now that the work is done I couldn't be happier with the work done. From the start of trying to get a quote in the middle of the lock down period IH Flooring have been incredibly friendly and helpful. Because of their care for keeping in line with COVID restrictions I was asked to supply some information for the quote to be done online this was actually quite accurate.

Both Fiona and Adam are very professional and made the many mistakes I made on the quote easy to resolve they contacted me instantly to get more information to ensure the quote was as accurate as possible. The quality of the fitting was perfect even though the previous owner has laid down some uneven wood chipping however Adam was able to work around that to make it all even. Thanks guys really appreciate it I'll be in touch when I am getting my bathroom done as well. read less

This is a small room with steps, so not an easy place to fit a carpet (especially on a very hot day). However, the fit is excellent and the fitter remained cheerful & friendly throughout, and the fitted carpet makes the room look bigger - a real transformation!

IH Flooring have carried out a number of installations for me including floor preparation, latexing, carpeting and vinyl flooring. Quotations are always transparent and the works carried out and completed on the dates promised. The work and workmen are professional and I have received good advice.

After a bad experience with a bloke and his sander we found IH flooring. They have now done almost all of the floors in the house. They restored and repaired oak parquet floors downstairs to an exceptionally high standard, fitted marmoleum tiles in the kitchen and carpeted the house throughout. They are experts, give very helpful advice, clear quotes and are friendly and professional. I also found it much easier to work with a local business. Highly recommend them.
