Ambience Hardwood Flooring was first established in 2004 with an aim to provide wood flooring that is cost effective, hard wearing and unique to other products seen on the internet. We are based in the heart of Leicestershire and have an extensive showroom displaying over 200 floors including hardwood flooring, laminate flooring, vinyl flooring and a range of hardwood flooring accessories and installation equipment. Linked to our showroom is our sales office and a 1300ft ² factory where we store all of our stock.

All natural flooring packs should be allowed to acclimatise according to the manufacturers guidelines within a room in the house free of any on going wet work i.e. drying plaster board, newly laid concrete screeds. Before installing any wood flooring you must check the subfloor/s. Methods will vary depending on their construction, some may be concrete, some wood. The following information will help guide you through what you will need to do to ensure the correct procedures are carried out. All concrete slabs should be completely clean and flat before wood flooring can be installed.
