Millstek specialises in Hand Tufting (handtufting) equipment for area rugs, carpets and wall hangings from manufacturers in Germany, Belgium and Sweden, including Hofmann Handtuft-Technik, Hitex, Flexorand, Titan Baratto Cornely, Fiberlane. Hofmann specialise in shearing equipment for carpets and bath mats with equipment that is both hand held and table mounted. Machines for edge bevelling of carpet tiles and carpet samples for sample books and cards. Flexorand and Titan Baratto Cornely sewing Machines for binding the edges of carpets, rugs, samples and bath mats.

Millstek is a UK Sole Trader company since 2001 and owned by Howard Mills that supplies equipment used in making and finishing area rugs, carpets, wall hangings. The Hofmann Hand-Tufting gun VML 16 can produce handtufted (hand Tufted)area rugs with both cut and loop pile. The same hand tufting technique is used in the Hitex Robotic Tufting machine. Shearing edge bevelling and carving equipment is also provided by Hofmann. Carving and sculpting of area rugs and carpets give the product a third dimension and plain carpets can be made very attractive by skilled carving.
