Through trade connections we can obtain handmade ironwork for doors and windows, stone and terracotta tiles, flagstones and bricks. We use specialist joiners who can build you a kitchen, conservatory or oak framed building. We supply old pine beams, joists and flooring as well as new oak beams joists and flooring. Plank doors in the old style are made to order from both the pine and oak.
I started buying antiques from local shops and stores and very soon started to buy from Wales and Scotland. I then spent several years buying hardwood and pine furniture from Ireland. The timber business came about from a lack of good reclaimed pine for repairs as some of the pine furniture had to be completely rebuilt. The customers that bought the furniture from me unrepaired also wanted to buy the timber to repair it. A lot of these customers still buy their timber from me 25 years on.
