Established in London and the south of England for over 35 years, we offer a range of interior restoration and repair services, with particular experience and skill in French Polishing and specialist wood finishes. We can work on-site and also have workshop facilities, which includes a top of the range spray booth providing contemporary heat and water resistant lacquer and paint finishes.
Matthews restoration can also adapt to smaller domestic projects such as staircases, doors and smaller panelled rooms. We take our responsibility for working in our customers homes very seriously and you can rest assured that they are in the best hands. Having completed countless restoration projects we have many tried and tested methods and we are fully insured to carry out internal restoration within your property.

With more than 35 years experience, Brian is highly skilled and can French polish to the highest standard, he passes on his years of wisdom to the team who have taken on projects from small dining tables right up to wood panelled rooms in stately homes. French polishing is a traditional hand finish that can be tedious and long, but well worth the results. Over the years we have French polished numerous panelled rooms, staircases and doors and all types of domestic furniture.
