After 25 years of being the factory manager in a large shelter manufacturing company Charles Barnes saw the opportunity to provide clients with high quality canopies and shelters of a more bespoke nature and move away from mass produced steel products that are made to fit, not built to size. So in August 2010 he set up Maypole Manufacturing and in March 2014 started Maypole Manufacturing T/A Shelter Solutions. This was the long established and well respected company owned by Jon Massey. Colin Barber who worked with Charles for 10 plus years and who previously worked with Jon continued and together to grow the company by providing high quality products at low prices, as they did not have the overheads crippling larger companies.

Our fitting team have returned today from installing this simple yet effective Canopy, which now offers the school a sheltered area in which students can enjoy socialising and benefiting from small group outdoor learning.
