Anderson Reeve

Our bespoke kitchens are individually designed and handcrafted in our Leicestershire workshop. Using traditional joinery techniques combined with modern design principles, we create functional yet aesthetically striking spaces. Each kitchen is tailored to the client's specific requirements, with options for painted or natural wood finishes, custom storage solutions, and integrated appliances.

We design and manufacture made-to-measure living room furniture including bookcases, entertainment units, and cabinetry. Our approach focuses on maximising space efficiency while maintaining aesthetic appeal, using premium materials like solid oak, cherry wood, and walnut. Each piece is crafted to complement existing decor while enhancing functionality.

Our custom office furniture solutions optimise workspace functionality through intelligent design. We create built-in storage systems, bespoke desks, and integrated technology solutions tailored to individual working habits. The furniture combines practicality with elegant design, featuring elements like concealed cable management and space-saving sliding mechanisms.

We craft custom bathroom cabinetry and storage solutions that balance aesthetics with practicality. Our designs incorporate moisture-resistant materials and finishes suitable for high-humidity environments. Features include custom vanity units, integrated storage solutions, and waterproofed worktops that maintain durability without compromising on style.

From single pieces to complete room installations, we create unique furniture tailored to specific requirements. Our process involves detailed client consultation to understand functional needs and aesthetic preferences. Each item is handcrafted using traditional techniques, with options for material finishes and custom detailing that ensure perfect integration with existing spaces.

Yes, we have extensive experience with period properties including grade II listed cottages. Our team specialises in creating sympathetic designs that respect architectural heritage while incorporating modern functionality.

Once again James has delivered a masterpiece!
James originally designed, built and installed our bespoke kitchen - which still looks stunning 2 years on. On this basis we commissioned James to design, build and install a bespoke integrated cupboard and window seat. The results are beyond exceptional, I only wish I could share an image so you can see just what I mean. It has transformed a once redundant space on our landing area into an intimate, cosy place, where I can sit and admire our garden and read bedtime stories to our son. I cannot recommend James highly enough and would not hesitate to refer him what ever your need.

James of Anderson Reeve co-designed, built and installed our living room furniture/entertainment centre in two stages over the last year. We honestly couldn't have been more impressed, he was a pleasure to work with and we are delighted with our end product. It has taken nearly six months to write this review (sorry James) but at least now we can properly endorse the craftsmanship and quality of materials as we have had no issues at all and the piece still looks as perfect today as it did upon installation. We would wholeheartedly recommend Anderson Reeve to anyone thinking of commissioning any bespoke furniture, you will not be disappointed.

In Spring 2015 we decorated our master bedroom and searched high and low for 2 bedside tables and 2 matching sets of drawers to fit an unusual sized space. After an extensive and fruitless search we realised that having hand-made, bespoke furniture was the only way that we would get exactly what we wanted, so we contacted James Reeves. James came to measure up and talk to us about how he builds each piece for each client.

We also decided to investigate have him completely fitting out our home office with bespoke bookcase, cupboards and desk, as our requirements were also very specific for this room. James discussed every little detail, working out all our best options on usage of space, aesthetics and price, and then he quoted for both rooms. At this point he informed us that he was busy for 12 months and that there would be a considerable wait before he was available to manufacture and install our furniture.

Not wanting to spoil the ship for a ha porth of tar, we agreed that this was not an issue. We had already decided that we actively wanted James to do the bedroom and office furniture because we had been very impressed with the care and attention we had received from James during our dialogues about the design. From initial consultation to delivery and installation, James demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail exceeding our expectations.

He patiently re-drew designs and drawings to address issues as they arouse and worked closely with us every step of the way. We are absolutely thrilled with the results. James is a gifted craftsman and his work is thorough and meticulous. Each room is exactly how we envisaged it and we cannot praise James highly enough for his ability to bring our wishes to such stunningly beautiful (and subsequently much-admired) reality. He was well worth the wait! Thank you, James!

James has just completed our bespoke kitchen and the result has surpassed our expectations. From the moment we met James we felt assured he understood how we wanted to use the space and presented some creative solutions to challenging spaces/problems. Throughout, from design through to delivery, he was communicative and responsive to our needs. The quality of his work is exceptional and we would not hesitate in recommending him. My husband and I have already started a list of potential projects to discuss with James.

James Reeve provided us with a superb bespoke kitchen this summer ( 2014 ). Everything about it is brilliant from the initial design through to installation and completion. The craftsmanship in terms of the units and fittings is of the highest standard and the final result is a new, bright and more spacious looking kitchen which is a pleasure to work in. James project managed the whole process professionally and we were extremely pleased with how smoothly and reliably everything fell into place.

The different tradespeople commissioned by James were all of a very high standard of work and reliability. Everything happened in the timescale we agreed and we always felt that we were given clear information and treated with great care and courtesy. James is a great guy to have to provide a service and a product of this excellent quality and we recommend Anderson Reeve unreservedly.
