Village Chic is owned & run by Lucretia, who started life running a small interior design company. This lead to Lucretia Sourcing fabulous items for her clients, and being fully qualified in Interior Design & Specialist Decorative Techniques Lucretia was able to revamp beautifully crafted Antiques. Through demand of her items Village Chic was formed just over 16 years ago. Lucretia has grown the business into a major dealer of French Antiques & imports to the UK every 2 months. The main aim is to provide clients with a range of French Furniture, we have a relaxed friendly business and are always keen to help clients find specialist pieces.

Elegant and classic French Dressing Tables by Village Chic. We offer a hand paint service so you can have items painted any colour or have a colour change if something is not right for you. Full delivery service available just ask. If something is marked as "Sold out" just ask enquire as others might be available, we import every 8 weeks not all products are listed.

Village Chic Sileby & Newark offers a Bespoke Hand-paint Service to any of our ranges, and YOUR own furniture. You can commission us to Paint items any colour or finish. We use only the best paints and can provide colour samples. We cover the whole of the UK. Having your own furniture painted could not be easier all you need so is send us the size of the item with a description or email - text requests with photos. You will then be given a price and time scale. Items are normally painted within 7 days.

The main paint finish mostly requested is Shabby Chic effect which is hand-painted, lightly or heavily distressed to bring out the carved details of your item, then over waxed.
