Following a full apprenticeship as a cabinet maker and an advanced distinction in his City & Guilds, Ian established his own business in the early 1980's. Since then he has worked for a wide range of clients from private homes to well-known brand names. Well known clients include both Sir Steve Redgrave and Sir Matthew Pinsent alongside The Dorchester Hotel, the QE2 liner, Asprey's jewellers and Coutts Bank. Renowned for his customer service, respect for client's homes and workspaces, Ian is a perfectionist as both designer and craftsman.
Ian is a skilled furniture restorer taking antique tables, desks, chairs, cases and cabinets and returning them to their former glory. As part of this service Ian can offer French Polishing, restoration of leather tops and re-upholstery.
