Washington Fireplaces manufacture all of our Limestone and Marble surrounds, plus we influence the designing of all the wood surrounds in our range. We are the Northeast's largest fireplace showroom and manufacturer, with over 400 surrounds in our range. We cover all styles from contemporary to traditional and everything in-between. Washington Stove & Fireplace Centre is a leading fireplace company that prides itself on being your local supplier of quality Stoves, Gas Fires, Electric fires and Fire Surrounds. With more than 35 years experience, we are one of the oldest established manufacturers/showrooms in the North East, and now we are bigger than ever. We have Stoves & fires on display from all the major manufacturers such as Gazco/Stovax, DRU, Dimplex, Flamerite, Purevision and Evonic to name just a few. We also have over 100 Limestone, Marble and Wood Surrounds on display at any one time.

Alderley Clear Oak, available in Solid Oak or Oak Veneer. All wood surrounds will accommodate a standard 37"x 37" back panel unless specified otherwise. When fitting surrounds with solid fuel appliances you must consult HETAS with regards to clearances and regulations. It is our recommendation that the opening should be a minimum of 36" x 36". We do not recommend that veneered products are installed with solid fuel applications or high efficiency gas fires. Bayswater Clear Oak, available in Solid Oak or Oak Veneer.

Take advantage of fully qualified and experienced fitting teams. All the 3rd party fitting teams we use are fully registered in their particular field of expertise. The fitting teams also have a number of Stone Masons on board, resulting in your chosen surround and fire been fitted to the highest standards. Call us on 0191 416 5467 for more details and pricing. At Washington Stove & Fireplaces Centre we believe the best results are achieved through a holistic design-to-installation approach, working closely with clients and designers from inception through to completion to ensure the best end product. We are able to give initial technical information, discuss your ideas and provide some price indications over the phone. Following this we would recommend that an initial meeting take place between one of our Design Consultants and the client/builder/architect/interior designer along with any other necessary parties on site.
