Always being up for a challenge I took on this project with the knowledge the finished piece would be a total transformation. I've stripped it down and reinforced the frame. Reupholstered the sprung arms and fitted a removable seat cushion. Finished in a striped velvet from Swaffer Fabrics.
These two chairs were past down to my customer from her mother after her sister had them reupholstered in faux leather with a fluted back. Having nothing to go by other than a photo of an original chair I was tasked with the project to restore them as close as possible to their original condition.
Just completed repairing this chairs seat that the owners dog took a liking to! The seat has been stripped out and a new foam seat fitted. Unfortunately we couldn't match the original fabric so the customer chose a distressed leather which matched the buttons and piping.
Today we delivered 2 large settees and a carved arm chair. All pieces had seen better days and needed completely reuphostering. New foam throughout, new fibre seat cushions and new feather back cushion brought them back to life. Covered in a complimenting tartan fabric from Cristina Maronne completed their restoration.
This week we recovered this striped suite in a complimenting fabrics by Cristina Maronne. New seat foam interiors ensured a brand new feel and comfort.
