It is a far cry from when Mr Simman Febland established the company in 1952 and setting out his stall in the 1953 Harrogate Gift Fair, to the 15 annual exhibitions now participated in by the company. Febland Group Ltd have been finishing furniture since the 70's so have a wealth of knowledge in this field. Many of our contract chairs are made from solid beech wood in the factories of northern Italy. They are imported by Feblands in either a knock-down form, or assembled, ready for us to sand down the wood and give it a custom design. Popular finishes of today include black/white high gloss or heavily lacquered finish. We can gold or silver leaf as well as achieve antique craquelle finishes. If you want something a little less flamboyant, we also offer all the standard wood stains such as oak, walnut, beech, mahogany etc. Fabrics and leathers can be chosen from our in-house range or sent to us by the customer.
