W L D Textiles is a family run business in York founded in 1967 and has a wide range of customers including letting agents, landlords, hotels, tradesmen and some of the same independents we have been supplying for the last 50 years. It started out supplying retail DIY Shops in and around Yorkshire with curtain tracks and accessories. In 1995 William died and his son Keith became a partner with Christine, and in 2004 Graham, grandson of William, joined the business and helped to build up the DIY, curtain poles and furniture division.
We deal with over 20 furniture importers and manufactures and have something to suit any room in any home. We have a large stockroom with beds, mattresses and furniture ready for immediate delivery. All of our mattresses and lots of our ready assembled bedroom furniture are made in the UK which makes delivery very quick on non-stock items. Large stocks of imported, flat pack furniture are held at factories in the UK ready for dispatch to us usually within 7-10 working days.
