Did someone say Sideboards? No, don't worry you haven't been transported back in time - they're here and now, and they are looking GOOD! Traditionally used in homes where the kitchen was short of fitted units and people needed somewhere to store china, plates, glasses, napkins, table linen, placemats etc, a sideboard provided all this extra storage.
