Alden Cabinet Designs is a family business, established in 1973 and run by Denis O'Leary and son Chris O'Leary. Working with our team of skilled cabinet makers we have built a reputation for producing traditional and bespoke furniture with particular attention to quality and craftsmanship. We supply Hotels, designers and retailers and all the furniture is made to order at our factory in West Sussex. Since 1989 we have been designing and making furniture to enhancing our range, combining modern manufacturing techniques with traditional cabinet making skills.
The leather in our desks and writing bureaux is 'sheepskin' that may have naturally occuring blemishes. As part of our hand finishing process we antique and distress each piece of furniture to give an appearance of age, as in a genuine antique. This is carried out by individual craftsmen and therefore may vary slightly from piece to piece. The woods and veneers used are natural products and may have naturally occurring blemishes which adds to the antique effect.
