Back in 1981 TBKS started its life as 'The Bath Knob Shop', operating as a retail shop in Bath city centre. From across the South West, contractors and architects realised we had something to offer; not that we only sold beautiful doorknobs but that we had the technical acumen to ensure their projects would benefit greatly from our input. Steadily we grew, then in 1999 we moved to bigger premises on the outskirts of Bath, changing our trading name to TBKS and taking our loyal customers with us. Along with our first website and fourth catalogue, plus the increased capacity of our showroom, TBKS was able to develop a wider range of products aimed at a much wider audience.
