Expert Furniture Stripping & Restoration Services
Established in 1987, we bring over three decades of expertise to furniture stripping, restoration, and refinishing. Our methodology prioritises material-specific treatments: hot caustic dipping for softwoods like pine, with post-treatment neutralisation to prevent long-term damage, and non-caustic chemical stripping for hardwoods such as oak and mahogany. We maintain rigorous environmental standards through legally compliant waste disposal tracked via registration OGW658 with Natural Resources Wales. Our refinishing services utilise premium materials, including skiver leather desktops, ensuring durable, professional results. We specialise in preserving structural integrity while achieving aesthetic excellence, serving both private clients and heritage projects. Our commitment to quality control extends to detailed consultations for custom finishes and comprehensive project estimates. As a registered Environment Agency partner, we balance technical precision with ecological responsibility. With no automated processes, each restoration receives individualised attention from initial assessment to final polish.

Questions
What types of furniture can you restore?
We handle pine, oak, mahogany and other hardwoods, plus metal items. Our methods adapt to material type, using caustic dipping for softwoods and chemical stripping for hardwoods.
How do you ensure environmental compliance?
We're registered with Natural Resources Wales (OGW658). All waste undergoes testing and legal disposal with full traceability through Environment Agency-approved processes.
Do you offer refinishing services?
Yes, we provide sanding, polishing and desktop leathering using premium materials. Skiver leather options and custom colour finishes are available upon consultation.
What areas do you cover?
While our physical premises are temporarily closed during relocation, we previously served UK-wide clients and aim to re-establish nationwide service availability.
How do you handle structural preservation?
Our process neutralises caustic residues in pine furniture to prevent joint degradation. For hardwoods, non-caustic chemicals maintain wood integrity while removing finishes effectively.
