One of the worst experiences I've ever had.bought the loxley 6 drawer rattan storage chest. 1st unit was delivered and it was marked all over. Paint job was patchy and wood warped down the whole of 1 side. Got a replacement delivered which I was told would be double and triple checked before being sent out. Unit arrived with wooden front completely snapped. A runner that the rattan baskets sit on had come apart and was hanging by a nail at the front. Marked again all over. Terrible paint job and down to the wood in many places. The wooden structure didn't join at all in places and in others was twisted and not joined straight. When complained again was told that I would have to be at home for parcelforce to pickup. This was not an option as I already had taken 2 days out of the office and couldn't take another. So was advised to dispose of myself. Now am left with the unit that I had paid for in full and up front more than 1 month prior to item being delivered in the 1st instance, that quite frankly looks like some crap I wouldn't even expect from Argos for 15! I now have to spend more money and costs in taking to the dump, which in all honesty is the only fitting place for a unit of such quality. The funny thing being that I was told all units are individually hand crafted. If this is the case, I would sack the chippie who built it and the people who quality control the items before dispatch. I was also told 1st time around that it sounds like I received a rougue unit as they are all hand built from scratch. This suggested that items are not checked before being sent out, which was confirmed with the replacement item. I have photos of the unit and of the box delivered in which was in perfect condition, so it wasn't damaged in transportation on both occasions. The state of the unit was an absolute disgrace to your company and an embarrassment that you actually sent it out in the condition it was in on 2 occasions. No excuses! I will be discouraging anyone from ever using you in the future.
