We are a Garden Centre and Plant Nursery situated eleven miles west of Inverness and only four miles from the picturesque town of Beauly. The nursery began in 1974 and it is our growing experience and passion for plants which makes our Garden Centre a special place to visit. We stock the plants which we know do well in the Highlands but we are also constantly trying out new varieties. Wonderful nursery, healthy plants, good selection of outdoor plants and acid loving plants, plants and sundries not too expensive.

At Highland Liliums, we pride ourselves on stocking a full range of hardy plants all the year round. The plants available reflect the varied climatic conditions associated with the highlands. A large percentage of the plants for sale in our plant area are grown here at Kiltarlity on our own nursery. We have inspirational colour themed displays using plants from across the ranges, showing what combinations can be achieved. Our helpful staff are always on hand to advise on any gardening issue. They are all keen gardeners and have hands-on experience of growing in the highlands.

We are happy to quote prices for planting plans. Our contacts in the nursery trade in Scotland allow us to quote competitively even when we do not grow the plants ourselves. Our home grown range of plants can be supplied at wholesale prices where the quantities are large enough or for onward sales. Please contact wholesale@highlandliliums.co.uk. The Garden Centre and shop are closed to the public because of the restrictions placed on us by Tier 4, but we are OPEN for business by phone, email or social media.

Shrubs are plants with woody stems that keep their form all year round and therefore give structure to the garden. They can be deciduous and lose their leaves for the winter months or evergreen. In the main shrubs are very little trouble although there are exceptions which need annual pruning. They come in all shapes, sizes and colours. At Highland Liliums we grow a small selection of shrubs but we source from other Scottish nurseries and beyond to offer you the widest possible selection in the Garden Centre.

What's new?

Hi folks as you are probably aware scotland is the only one of the uk nations where garden centres have been forced to close, with the exception of click and collect. We feel this is particularly unfair given that places like b and q have been allowed to stay open. The Horticultural Trade.
