The Painted Furniture

Our showrooms are closed from December 19th whilst we take a well earned break. We will be open for viewing by appointment at our Cirencester showroom on Tuesday 29th, Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st December and at both Cirencester and Kingston upon Thames from 2nd January onwards. Simply use any of the contact forms to book your appointment for that week and we look forward to welcoming you. You can still order your furniture online of course and if you need colour samples to help with your choices, just let us know and we can post these out as soon as we return.

Although both Adam and Rosy had been in the furniture business for some time the Painted Furniture Co. brand was really launched in 2010, when one afternoon they got a bit bored.

Our Oxford Painted Dining Tables are truly special pieces and each one is Hand Made to Order in the UK using the finest materials throughout. Your Oxford Dining table will be created with a level of care and attention that is just so rare these days, and certainly at this price. Whichever way you look at it these tables are outstanding value for money, so why not treat your home to a wonderful piece of bespoke British hand crafted furniture. Stylish and elegant and altogether something of a chameleon, this table will suit a wide variety of homes and interior styles.

The Oxford Painted Living Room Furniture Collection is another of our first class hand made furniture collections built at our factory in the South West of England. The design is an exquisite balance of contemporary style with plenty of classic design cues. With its beautifully coved top sections and gentle swagged plinth the Oxford collection works brilliantly in both traditional and contemporary environments. The Oxford collection is available in a choice of colours and can either be fully painted or have a contrasting Oak top in a choice of shades.

Our painted bedroom furniture collections all have a choice of beautiful hand built dressing tables which perfectly compliment the rest of the collection. Single dressing tables and double dressing tables feature as standard in each collection and we can also build a special piece to your own size and configuration, just let us know what you need. A dressing table is a piece of furniture for the bedroom at which people sit to put their makeup or jewellery on, typically having a mirror mounted on top.

The Oxford collection is available in a choice of colours and can either be fully painted or have a contrasting Oak top in a choice of shades. For a truly special and individual piece we are also able to manufacture the Oxford furniture to your exact measurements, just call us if you need to discuss bespoke sizes. Each piece of Oxford furniture, from the smallest lamp table to the largest dresser is hand built to your order at our factory in the south west of England. The carcasses are built to a cabinet grade standard using traditional techniques and the finish is applied by hand using the latest painting technology.

We regularly change our display and promotion furniture and from time to time we need a good clear out! The furniture in this section will mostly be ex-display from one of our showrooms, it may have been used specifically for a photo shoot or at an exhibition. Some may be prototype pieces, factory samples or cancelled orders. Whatever the source we put these items up for a limited time at silly prices and they represent incredible value as slight seconds. We sell these pieces as declared seconds and the prices reflect that, but all will have been built and finished with the same care as our mainline products.

The Portland is a full set of livng and dining furniture which includes dressers, sideboards, coffee tables, TV Units and bookcases. Every piece is hand built just for you and will be finished in your choice of colour and wood top option.

The Oxford bedroom furniture was our first painted bedroom furniture collection to be conceived, designed, engineered, manufactured, painted and finished entirely in the UK. The original brief was for a modern interpretation of classic British design, beautiful to behold and exceptionally well made by the best craftsmen using the finest materials. The gently sculpted top moulding, the plinth with its gently swagged cut out and the subtley detailed drawer fronts are all classic cues wrapped up in a compact and contemporary form.

Probably the most varied of any piece in our collections our painted wardrobes are a firm favourite. Available as standard in all collections are two, three and four door versions. With drawers and without and with extra shelves or hanging rails as you wish. Our wardrobes can also be scribed together to create really large storage cupboards, we have a special selection of Low Wardrobes and if that's not enough then any of our British made wardrobes can also be built to your exact dimensions, Just for You!
