There's so much more than just time-served craftsmanship in each piece of handmade wooden furniture and joinery created at L&R's purpose-built Cornish workshop, located at Herniss, near Falmouth, Cornwall. Through every thread of grain in the wooden windows, doors, staircases and furniture runs our passion for wood. We learned our craft creating wooden interiors for classic yachts where only the highest standard in design, functionality and appearance is acceptable. Whether we are creating a contemporary set of wooden doors or windows, designing and installing a fitted wooden kitchen or restoring the original period panelling of a sensitive restoration project, we approach our woodwork with the same degree of care, precision and professional expertise.

The devil is in the detail and at L&R we've got the detail down to a fine art. Wooden windows, doors, staircases and furniture should not only look good and feel pleasing to the touch, they should retain this sense of quality even close up. You've probably worked it out by now, but we're very proud of the fact that we produce the same standard in our wooden joinery and finishing as we do in our bespoke wooden furniture. Our joints fit like a glove and the wood finishes and veneers we apply in our purpose-built spraying booths are as smooth as silk.

Sometimes only the best hand finished woodwork and installation will do. When a project matters, only craftsmen who understand and appreciate the versatility, behaviour and beauty of wood will deliver the desired results.
