Wet underfloor heating circulates warm water through a succession of continuously looped pipes beneath the floor, providing a comfortable level of heating whilst keeping running costs low. By offering a full surface coverage of piping, this system will provide a consistent source of warmth, with no need for supplementary heating. It is one of the most modern ways of heating your home it runs at a low temperature of 40-55 degrees, instead of the 80 degrees used in traditional heating systems. Using conduction & natural air radiation, heat emitted from the floor will rise and ensure an even temperature throughout the space.

Early forms of heat pumps were solely based underground, relying on using heat stored underground from the sun's solar radiation. Although still an efficient and useful system, recent developments have enabled the introduction of Air Source Heat Pumps, which harvests low-level energy from outdoor air and uses this to transfer heat for the supply of hot water and heating. Typically, an air source heat pump will provide 3kWh of heating energy for every 1kWh of electricity it uses. This provides an efficient reduction in running costs for a home.

We offer all types of water treatments, from chlorination, power flushing, testing heat pumps & solar fluids, and installing all makes and models of water softners. Water chlorination is the process of adding chlorine to water as a method of purification, ensuring disease-causing bacteria, nuisance bacteria, parasites and other organisms are destroyed within a water supply. Chlorination also oxidizes iron, manganese and hydrogen sulphide so they can be filtered out. We test for frost protection in the pipework to ensure the correct levels of anti-freeze are maintained.
