Whilst we specialise in commercial installations in association with Architects, Property Developers and Building Constructors we also have dedicated Domestic, Environmental and Support specialists. We have been trading for over 20 years and are conveniently based in North Bristol allowing access to Bristol, Bath, North Somerset and Gloucestershire.
Plumbtec (South West) Ltd was formed in 1999 by Mike and Helen Goodfield. Initially operating within the Bristol area the company grew steadily for 10 years growing the customer base to include Avon, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Cardiff, Newport, Chepstow. Until January 2013 Plumbtec was based outside Charfield on the edge of the Cotswolds. Now based in Horfield, in Bristol giving us excellent access to the M4 and M5 Motorway network. In 2013 we achieved PAS 2030 recognition which means we are registered as installers for the government funded Green Deal and ECO work for installing Gas Boilers and Heating Controls.
Our engineers are fully trained to install a wide range of systems including Hot water Solar Panels, Ground and Air source heat pumps and Gas condensing boilers. With the cost of fuel rising daily (it seems), the ever growing concerns on fossil fuels and deeper concern on CO2 emissions, it is comforting to know that there are environmentally friendly, fuel free (*1) heating systems available.
We provide a full service to our commercial clients an pride ourselves on providing a highly professional quality service. Clients include Architects, Property Developers, or Building Contractors, regularly on Local Government projects. We provide a fully integrated solution, and strive to deliver on time and to budget. All work is undertaken by fully qualified engineers and we are adequately insured and indemnified. We operate a Quality Management System which has enabled us to achieve PAS 2030 recognition and are currently working towards MCS.
One of the most important parts of your home is a decent reliable Heating system. We install many heating systems and are able to fit state of the art environmentally friendly fuel free heating and cooling systems (for more details see the environmental section). However, in some houses these systems are not necessarily economically viable. In this situation we will install environmental boilers and appropriate heating. We carry out full bathrooms installations, the quality of installation will not only increase your enjoyment and pride of your home, it should increase its value.
