As the birth place of J. Arthur Rank - the founder of the British film industry, it soon became apparent that this was a home of major significance to Hull's heritage. The house had been derelict for a number of years and was infested with rodents, pigeons and Japanese knotweed. Once these issues had been cleared and treated we stripped it right back, replacing the roof and everything below. The house included hand crafted timber windows and original coving repairs, restoring it back to its original glory.
