We are able to survey pipelines ranging from 100mm diameter to 1500mm diameter, our remote control crawler camera units can travel distances of up to 300 metres and are equiped with pan and remote camera heads which are able to cover 360 degrees of the internal pipe diameter.
CCTV surveys are a well proven and established method of finding faults in pipeline systems. A high quality color pan and rotate camera is either pushed along on a rod through the pipeline or is mounted on a tractor unit that drives itself along the section to be surveyed. Both cameras send the picture via a cable to the CCTV inspection vehicle in real time. This is shown on a monitor for the operative and the client to see. The flexibility of CCTV surveying techniques and technology used extends further the range of reporting options on offer.
