Let me introduce myself. My name is Chris Walters, I am a fully qualified and insured Plumber and Gas Safe engineer who also covers Central Heating, Kitchen and Bathroom Fitting and Landlords Gas Safety Checks. My company is based in Lower Earley, Reading and provides services to most of Berkshire and the surrounding area. I take great pride in all my work whether it's a small job such as repair of a leaky tap or a full bathroom renovation or installation of a complete new Gas central heating system.
Walterworks Plumbing and Heating can assist you in the planning of your new kitchen, from choosing suitable units, appliances, sinks and taps to selecting the best layout for you. When the decision has been made, we can order and fit the units and install the plumbing and appliances. We can also complete plastering, decorating, tiling and make arrangements for a fully qualified electrician to complete any electrical work. As I am a fully qualified Gas Engineer and Plumber, there is no need for you to worry or have the hassle of arranging separate tradesmen.
The Gas Safety Regulations state that landlords must only use a Gas Safe registered engineer for maintenance and safety checks on gas appliances. Landlords must be able to provide their tenants with an up to date Gas Safety record for each property and each gas appliance within the property should be included in the check. In order to provide tenants with this record, landlords must, by law, have all gas appliances serviced annually by a Gas Safe registered engineer. The Gas Safe registered engineer will provide a Gas Safety record upon completion of the check.

Contacted Chris regarding water tank replacement. Excellent communication regarding availability, costs and what needed doing. Turned up as agreed on time, very professional, friendly, clean & tidy. Would highly recommend to a friend, will be using him next year for bathroom renovation.

We found a leak in the airing cupboard from the hot water tank. We contacted Chris and he popped in that evening to look at the problem. Thanks to Chris we now have a new tank, which was fitted very quickly. He was pleasant, professional, clean and tidy. He told me what needed doing and why. He even got in touch the next day to ensure that I was happy, before sending the invoice. I will be using Walterworks again and recommending him to friends. I am already considering him for a kitchen installation!!

We have used Chris for many years and would thoroughly recommend him. Professional, always on time and on hand for the odd emergency call out. We never need to worry about remembering when our boiler is due for a service, Chris always makes contact with us on annual basis to join us in.

Chris at Walter Plumbing has serviced my boiler since I moved into my house 6 years ago. He has also come out to check the boiler when I had concerns about it. I would definitely recommend Walter Plumbing as a good, reliable and trustworthy company.
