I am an apprentice trained plumbing and heating engineer, I have been working in the industry for over 10 years. After working in the industry for this long I felt I had gained enough experience and knowledge to set up my own business and to be able to offer my customers an excellent service with all our work covered by our 12 month warranty. Since doing so I have built up a good wide spread customer base across Yorkshire, including York and surrounding villages, Knaresborough, Harrogate, Wetherby, Thirsk, Ripon Leeds, Pontefract and Castleford.

Solar heating is becoming an increasingly popular option for domestic water heating, basically using the heat of the sun to warm the water. It's economical and green, reducing both your fuel bills and carbon dioxide emissions. Obviously once you've paid for the installation of your system, sunlight is free! You can apply for help with installation costs from the government's Renewable Heat Incentive, and may even be able to receive payment for the heat you generate. Solar heating can be used all year round, although a conventional boiler or immersion heater may be needed to make the water hotter when there isn't enough sunshine.

The gas safe register has now replaced corgi, all gas work done has to be done so by a gas registered engineer. By law landlords have to get a landlords certificate done every year so that there appliances and gas pipe work is unto standard and that there tenants will be safe, homeowners and business should also get a gas safety check including servicing a boiler annually so they have peace of mind that everything is working as it should.
