Just Ask was co-founded by Steve Hulbert (Managing Director) in 2012 to provide home help services to the elderly in the Skipton area. However, it quickly became clear that a large number of people requiring support at home with day-to-day tasks such as cleaning, ironing and meal preparation, did not have the financial resources available to pay the normal charges. It was largely because of this that the structure of the organisation was changed to the Community Interest Company it is now. Our unique business model is simple and uses the profits made from cleaning that is done for full-fee paying service users to offer subsidised home help and home care services to people who may otherwise not be able to afford the normal charges.
Reliable, thorough and ethical. We've been using Just Ask for home cleaning since they started and have found them to be excellent and always willing to be flexible and cater for our needs. The fact that they are a community interest company is an added bonus, meaning we also feel good about using them.
We started using Just Ask when I went to back to work full-time after maternity leave and I cannot recommend more highly. They do a fantastic job and are always very flexible.
Mum is disabled with poor mobility. Still in her own home she is largely confined to one room and dependent on total care. The personal carers can only do so much, Just Ask fill all the gaps; shopping, cooking, cleaning, minor fixing, searching for missing mail items. What they do is in their company name - Just Ask. Mum could not be where she is without them.
Just Ask is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company with an excellent reputation in the Skipton area. Our ethos is 'to provide a level of service or care that we would be happy for a family member to receive'.
