John West (Contractors) Limited is a family run building business, established in 1960, and based in Weston-super-Mare. We undertake all aspects of building work together with plumbing, heating and electrical works. Our offices are located within a 6000 sq ft industrial unit close to and within easy reach of the M5, and include a well-stocked internal store complete with full-time store manager. We employ over 40 local people covering all trades and office administration, and have a fleet of over 30 vans.
Established in 1960, we provide services to commercial, industrial, retail and residential clients, and pride ourselves on the quality and reliability of those services offered both during and following completion of contracts, regardless of their size. We cover all the main building trades 'in-house' and offer a comprehensive one-stop shop including bricklaying, carpentry, decorating, plastering, rendering and roofing. We are also Gas Safe registered heating engineers and NICEIC approved electrical contractors.
Whether we are installing new or repairing or maintaining existing installations, we offer a comprehensive range of heating services and are Gas Safe registered heating engineers.
We undertake large one-off purpose built projects and are continually completing an ongoing wide range of various sized projects within budget, quality and time constraints. Architects drawings and specification are preferred in order to submit a competitive fixed price quotation, however we are always more than happy to talk through a client's particular needs and requirements with regard to a future building project. We offer a complete range of building services to support each of the New Build, Refurbishment, Repair and Maintenance markets. We cover all aspects of the market ranging from large retainer based term contracts to a 24-hour Emergency Call Out service within an approximate 50-mile radius of Westonsuper-Mare. Although the bulk of our workload is carried out within this radius, we are always willing to cover jobs outside of this area for our clientsif requested to do so. All types of work are undertaken, regardless of size, and we would like to emphasize that no job is too small to undertake! We regularly attend to all manner of repair work including leaking taps, roof leaks, door adjustments and balancing central heating systems amongst all manner of other, often irritating, jobs. We offer a 24-hour Emergency Call Out service to our clients for any manner of repairs, no matter how small, within an approximate 50-mile radius of Weston-super-Mare (and beyond if necessary!).
