Leakage was evident across most of the roof area resulting in disruption to customer areas and damaged stock. As the leakage was occurring in public areas of the unit, it was imperative that leakage was resolved. The client indicated that minor repairs had been attempted by other contractors and had not been effective and that a long-term solution was preferred. It was agreed that the noise during removal of the existing felt covering would cause disruption to the trade counter below and that, as space was restricted in the storage yard, waste disposal would be difficult.
Our range of high performance felt systems provide a long-term weatherproofing solution to both flat and pitched roofs. Our range includes bitumastic and polyester-based, elastomeric felts which can carry varying guarantees. Felt can be installed in either single or multi layer systems, dependant on requirements and/or budget.
