Francis Keenan Senior has been involved in construction for all of his adult life, having come from a roofing family, he learnt his trade on the job from an early age. He initially set up a cladding business and at the age of 25 he established FK Group, over the next 40 years FK Group has become, a full building envelope solutions business with a turnover in excess of 100m.

Issues of scale, demanding logistics, high pressure timings, budget constraints - industrial construction is not for the faint hearted. Creating building envelope packages for large logistics buildings and warehouses is a core competency for FK Group. We're well placed to advise on materials and products at pre- construction phase, and over many years we have perfected our systems and processes to give you fast, economical, high quality results. Typically, industrial timeframes are short, but our large and skilled team can react quickly to cope with tight design lead times and challenging build programmes.

Modern glazed exteriors satisfy many functional and aesthetic needs - the sheer variety of designs reflects the versatility of architectural glazing. FK Group's glazed facades range from simple stick curtain walling to more complex and technically challenging designs. We work with all the major curtain walling systems providers and we can supply and install a wide range of ancillaries and related fabrications. Our skilled team is highly experienced in the design and installation of various curtain walling systems - including unitised, silicon glazed, bolted glass, fire rated, steel and timber backed.

FK Group started out in the roofing sector, and commercial roofing remains a core part of our business. Working closely with our trusted supply chain, we offer a range of roofing systems, for most sectors and building types. Our specialisms include composite roofing systems, commonly specified for large industrial builds and aluminium standing seam roofing systems, known for their adaptability, durability and low weight. Single Ply membrane roofing systems provide a flexible option, suitable for both flat and pitched roofs.

Our cladding service takes care of both the functional and aesthetic, protecting structures from the elements and ensuring building longevity. We specialise in a wide variety of cladding, including composite, tiled and ceramic rainscreen, PPC aluminium rainscreen and built-up cladding systems, as well as steel frame systems and render. Our specialist team is well-equipped to help advise you on the suitability of different systems at pre-construction stage, and we are very happy to work with you to tailor bespoke solutions for particular projects.
