Gutter Repairs & Recplacement
At Mac- our main service is the installation of new fascia, soffits and gutters- however over the years we have added to this service a cleaning and repair department. Often it is not a full replacement that is needed and a small repair is all it takes to sort out any problems you may be having. Our cleaning and maintenance teams are experienced roofline installers. They carry a stock of different parts on their vans and are able to fix most problems by installing a new joint or bracket. Sometimes lack of cleaning can be the cause of gutter joints separating- plant roots and roof debris can force open the vacuum seal of the joint.
Soffits Cardiff, Newport And South Wales
We always consider ventilation and favour the hidden over- fascia vents- which run horizontally across your roofline under your roof tiles/slates and on top of the fascia board. These give superior ventilation as far as your roofline is concerned. This way you get a clean finish for your soffits- without vents spoiling the look. When I was looking to replace my fascia, soffits and gutters on one side of my house becasue of rainwater leakage, I did not have any builder in mind. Roofing Advice
Your fascia boards are fixed to the end of the roof rafter feet. If rot gets into your fascia boards it will eventually work its way up into your main roof timbers. So, we strip everything off and that way we can get a good look at your rafter feet and check them and make any necessary repairs, before we start rebuilding the roofline in UPVC. You can then rest assured that all that area of your roof is solid and will keep rainwater out of your home for years to come. Seriously, if you are thinking of covering, please take our advice.
Gutter Cleaning
We are excited to announce that we have now switched over to the innovative Sky Vac system for our entire gutter clearing services. This system is a vacuum operated machine that clears out your gutters completely- of all debris and blockages. The best news for us? Our roofers can do this all from the safety of the ground. We have a wireless camera that is used- on an inspection pole- to firstly see what is in your gutters. We then use a long- reach carbon fibre pole system attached to a powerful vacuum.
New Gutters
We can install new guttering in a complete range of designs and colours- from traditional cast iron effect upvc- for the more traditional looking home- to clean classic white, along with black, brown, caramel and contemporary anthracite grey. We have the full range- all in wonderful maintenance free upvc. We can install standard size and shapes for example classic half round gutter or more modern square-line guttering- or offer a deeper-flow option for homes with steeper pitched roofs. We are a family company est in 1998 based in Cardiff and Newport- and cover all over South Wales from Chepstow to Bridgend and everything in between.

MAC roofline recently renewed the soffits on my roof and did a very good job. They were quick and efficient and left everything clean and neat and tidy at the end.

Had the roofline replaced not just covered with new fascias, soffits and guttering. Scaffolding went up on the Friday, work complete (to an excellent standard) and scaffolding removed by the following Wednesday. Even when there was an issue with next doors satellite reception they were out asap to rectify. Thoroughly recommended.

The work was carried out efficiently and cleanly - there was no mess left behind and the fitters were friendly and helpful . We were kept informed about when the work would take place and there was a follow- up call afterwards to check everything was ok. I would definitely recommend MAC .

Mac Home Improvements have just completed work on cladding our porch. We are very pleased with the work done, and particularly the excellent communication we received at every point keeping us up-to-date with dates and time scales. They were punctual and efficient, on day of work, cleaning up after the work. We were happy with the price which we felt was reasonable.
