A quality plain clay tile roof will enhance the value of your property. Your plain clay tile roof will be in place for the life of the building and make a powerful statement of quality. Naturally burnt clay tile colours improve with age. Natural clay colours are generated through delicate control of the kiln atmosphere and deliver a vibrancy and warmth that cannot be matched by tiles coloured artificially. Naturally burnt clay tile colours exhibit subtle colour variations and blend together particularly well.

Our skilled craftsmen have an unrivalled depth of experience to create bespoke clay pieces for the most demanding and prestigeous roof restoration projects. Dreadnought are the only clay brick and tile factory in the UK that specialises exclusively in clay products and because of our extensive expertise we are able to match almost any clay tile colour. Send us a sample of what you would like to copy and we will provide a solution that meets your requirements. If you are a heritage professional and you would like to find out more about traditional clay roof tiles, we are holding a number of special Conservation and Heritage Days at our works in Brierley Hill.

Dreadnought manufacture a wide range of clay roof tile fittings to complement all the Dreadnought tile colours and tile ranges. Dreadnought Fittings are hand made. If you have special designs or would like an existing feature to be matched, contact our sales office who will be delighted to discuss your requirements. These provide a rounded soft profile to a roof. They do not fit close to the hip tile beneath them and mortar bedding must be used to fill the spaces between one hip tile and the one beneath.

Please contact us for exact prices as they will depend on the quantity required and the delivery address. These special offer tiles are sold as seen on the basis of samples. The photographs here reflect the lighting & weather conditions at the time they were taken. To appreciate their appearance fully, please request samples from our sales office 01384 77405. Prices quoted are ex Works and ex VAT and haulage is charged @ 17-32/1000 + VAT in minimum loads of 12,000 depending on the location in England and Wales, Scotland.
