Based in Preston, Lancashire, Rooftech Solutions was formed through a merge of two professional businesses that have operated to the highest standards of quality, service and reliability within the construction industry over the past number of years. Whilst we have a specialism in new roofing solutions and conservatory roofing, it has proved hugely beneficial for us combining the experience of both businesses, meaning that we can offer outstanding practical solutions in all areas of roofing to customers in Preston, Blackpool, Blackburn and all surrounding areas.

EPDM is an extremely durable synthetic rubber roofing membrane widely used in many low-slope buildings. Often up to 2 feet thick, EPDM rubber roofs can be installed either fully adhered or mechanically attached, with the seams of the roofing system sealed with liquid adhesives or specially formulated tape. This environmentally friendly system has been used to cover the decking of flat roofs where the product is glued to the decking boards or substrates and can be installed on both new and existing roofs, overlaying the decking of the old roof, provided that it can carry the load of the new roofing system.

Firstly, the fascia, also known as the roofline, is the mounted point where the roof meets the outer walls of the house - the fascia board being the long, straight board that runs along the lower edge of the roof carrying all the guttering and supporting the bottom row of tiles or slates. Then there's the soffit board that's tucked away under the fascia and is usually the board that you see most of from street level. The soffit can be ventilated to allow the flow of air into the roof area, although these days ventilation is more commonly provided over the top of the fascia.

From under the earth to the top of your home, there is nothing more natural than a stone slate roof. Quarried, chiseled and then trimmed into various shapes and sizes, a slate roof will give your home a traditional feel and here at Rooftech we strive to ensure that is always the case. The breakability of slate makes it possible to split the stone into thin sheets and, even when broken, slate retains a natural appearance while remaining flat and easy to stack, making it ideal for roofing material.

Conservatory roofing is a big innovation. You don't even need to worry if your existing conservatory has a plastic or glass roof, here at Rooftech Solutions we can convert any conservatory roofing as well as adding to new builds. It's completely up to you what stage of roofing we work at. A roof on your conservatory doesn't mean anything else has to be changed - Rooftech will retain all original doors, windows and frames. Alternatively, you can choose to have the wall between your house and conservatory removed, meaning the conservatory roofing can be applied as part of a new extension or to enlarge and extend an existing kitchen, lounge or bedroom.

I just had to write and let you know how pleased we are with how everything has gone with our new Conservatory. We have been impressed from the minute we contacted Rooftech Solutions.

The main purpose of roof tiles is to keep out the rain, but it also helps that their stylish appearance and overlapping design gives your home an attractive makeover that has become an increasingly common feature on houses both nationwide and worldwide. Traditionally made from materials such as terracotta and slate, modern materials like concrete and plastic are also used as tiles for roofs and some clay tiles even have a waterproof glaze. A large number of roof tile shapes have also evolved over the years.

Great service, very professional and polite, quoted me a price that was cheaper than the rest and stuck to it, I would definitely recommend these guys to all, thanks again. Mr ashworth, inskip, preston

I have recently had my conservatory roof changed from the original Perspex panels to a new lightweight insulated roof. The work done to our property was first rate and I would not hesitate to use this firm again, From the initial quote to the completed job everything was excellent (and all the rubbish was cleared away) A first rate job

Oh my I love my new garage flat roof! The lads were quick and efficient, cleaning as they went. Barely stopped for lunch. By far the best price of all the quotes we had and it included extras others hadn't quoted for. Thank you so so much for a brilliant job and it even matches my new colour scheme! :-
