1st Phase Electrical Ltd was set up in 2005 by the founder and Managing Director, Michael Christou. Shortly after, Michael James Christou, the founders son joined the company. Michael James is now a successful Registered Electrician trading under his own limited company. The company's initial activities involved plumbing and some general maintenance works but this was ended as the electrical business took off. Initially starting out with maintenance repairs, we began to receive enquiries for re-wires and more complex installations.
In this installation in Hertfordshire, there were 5 fuse boards and 3 local electrical meters. After re-wiring the complete office, we removed the old installation and installed a new consumer unit using a split board so that if anything did trip, only that circuit would trip. This would greatly reduce the amount of nuisance tripping - especially when circuits need to definetly need to avoid being tripped by other circuits. In most cases we will use the fuse board or consumer unit that we feel is best for the job with the provision of expansion.
