SIG Roofing in partnership with Europe's leading roof tile clay roof tile manufacturers offer the highest quality clay roof tiles and accessories to the Irish market. These tiles are manufactured from clay which is extruded pressed and dried, if a colour other than the natural colour of the clay is required, it is produced by the application of liquefied natural oxide prior to the clay being fired this process is known as Goring. Goring allows the dried tile to absorb the natural oxide, which becomes stable once the tile has been fired.
Slate is a 100% natural product that is only submitted to extraction and shaping processes and requires no additional treatment or chemicals.
