Serving his time as a welder at Camell Lairds Ship Builders in Birkenhead and then onto different welding projects on a number of the main coal fired power stations being built across the country at the time. Setting up the business in 1963 and moving into the construction of fire escapes nationwide for quite some time, RENROH then expanded into the thriving Wrought Iron market of the 60's and 70's. Moving into the steel security market in the eighties at the time of the tragic Toxteth Riots. A lot of shops at this time were secured with RENROH's Sliding Grille System, a product more typically associated with the industrial sector.
When an alarm is not enough Renroh design, manufacture and install traditional steel roller shutters. These offer protection for doors, windows and shop fronts and are ideal for shops, schools, hospitals, medical centres, warehouses and factories. Renroh roller shutters are constructed from galvanised steel lathes/slats, 75mm deep curved in either 20 or 22 gauge thickness. These are interlinked to provide a solid, vandal and theft proof barrier which is supported by a counterbalanced roller spring mechanism or option electric motor assembly.

RENROH special profile steel doors not only offer excellent security and utmost peace of mind, but are also both attractive and highly functional. All doors are constructed of mild steel sheets which are spot welded to a special mild steel profile section framing. Latch and lever furniture is fitted as standard and the door itself is connected to the frame by a full height galvanised piano hinge. Double doors are fitted with a shot bolt to the inactive door, and if required hydraulic self-closers may also be fitted.

We only use good gauge thickness of steels in all our work and every piece commissioned is Hot Dip Galvanized to ISO 1461 2009 to prevent corrosion.
