In the event of a fire, anyone in the building can activate the fire alarm by striking a 'break glass' call point. Strategically placed detectors, if activated, will automatically activate an audible alarm to inform occupants to evacuate the building. The number and type of detectors, whether for smoke, heat or carbon monoxide, will be selected in compliance with the industry standard, BS 5839-1. Our control panels have full zone indication enabling rapid identification of potential fires, showing where the fire starts and in what direction it's moving, which helps occupants evacuate the building safely and assist emergency services to quickly locate the fire.
