This is a Foundation level beginner's course in locksmithing, designed to get you started in a new career. The course is two days, taught at our training centre in Gravesend, Kent, and covers four sessions. All of our courses are taught with a mixture of theory and practical sessions, with an emphasis on hands-on teaching. This allows our learners to leave the training confident in their skills, and able to put these skills to work.
We have been present in the CCTV installation market since 2006, installing CCTV systems in local shops, supermarkets, office buildings, industrial places, dwellings and more. In 2008 we launched our training programmes, and have since trained more than 3000 learners in CCTV installation, including private companies, local government agencies, foreign companies and individuals. This award is a level 3 qualification in CCTV installation accredited by the NCFE, the UK's leading Ofqual-recognised awarding body, accepted by fire and security organisations and bodies around the world.
This two-day advanced course is for intruder alarm installers to get in-depth knowledge in advanced intruder alarm installation. This course combines essential theory and practical experience of wiring higher grade alarm panels. This course covers designing, the first fix, the second fix, commissioning and maintenance. Participants should have a strong understanding of intruder alarms or have successfully completed a foundation in intruder alarm installation with our centre, or an equivalent qualification.
In this course, you will be learning about a range of industrial fire alarm panels and associated components. You will learn how the devices fit into the system, how they function and the way in which they should be configured, connected and tested. This course provides a solid foundation in fire alarm installation and industry standards. A background in electrical is required e.g. This is a 3-day hands-on course, which provides you with insights into fire alarm installation and BS 5839 Pt 1 and Pt 6. BS 5839 provides recommendations for the planning, design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire detection and fire alarm systems.
Our three-day access control course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to kickstart a new career. This level 3 course provides a solid understanding of how an access control and an audio door entry system works. You will learn about the basic components of standalone and networkable IP access control system, how an analog audio entry system can be linked with a door station, practical installation of entry devices, attributes of entry devices, different types of entry devices wiring techniques in access control & door entry and troubleshooting techniques.
The Cube Level 3 Award in Intruder Alarm Installation is an industry recognised award, relevant and applicable to fire and security professionals operating in all sectors and organisations. This course will provide you with a solid grounding in all areas of intruder alarm installation, teaching you relevant, practical skills to professional standards, and give you an understanding of intruder alarm installation in a business context.
