We are proud to have offered solutions for retail, commercial and government organisations since 1990. RWS originally started manufacturing and installing windows and doors for the private and commercial sector, before broadening our offer to include decoration, partition walling, kitchens and air conditioning. Before long, RWS was offering a full range of building services to clients in the UK and overseas, with RWS often arranging local specialist labour on behalf of the client. Our security and blast and ballistic protection expertise soon resulted in requests for security air locks, screens, doors and other surveillance installations.

Fire doors are not ordinary doors. They are carefully-engineered, fire safety devices which are critical to the fire safety of a building. Of course, that doesn't mean they have to be ugly. RWS Ltd's Dilapidation and Refurbishment Team have installed many timber fire doors which also look the part. We have also manufactured fire doors in steel and aluminium. There are several extremely important checks that need to happen when fitting fire doors. Correct installation of fire door assemblies and door sets is fundamental to their overall performance.

My main duties consist of the day-to-day running of our company, actively overseeing all projects including finance, labour, sales, design and manufacturing. With over 25 years of experience within the commercial construction sector, I have developed expertise in all aspects relating to refurbishment and dilapidation works with a particular interest in blast and ballistic refurbishments both in the UK and overseas. I enjoy spending time with friends, particularly when red wine is present, walking the dog and skiing.

My work covers all areas of the accounts department, including resolving accounts queries, credit control and sales ledger and supporting customers and suppliers on a daily basis. I have almost 18 years' experience in the accounts department, working in all roles required for a smooth running system, including the management of payroll. I have worked my way up from accounts assistant to accounts supervisor/manager. I enjoy dog walking, spending time with my family, a glass of wine and a little garden design (my own!).
