Candidates must be either experienced oil operatives, or Gas Safe registered heating systems operatives. Candidates must either already hold the 600a qualification, or take it alongside this assessment. It is recommended that new entrants to the oil industry undertake the OFT 50 course first. Please note that proof of previous qualifications is required to confirm your booking. Please click below to upload and send your certification onto a member of our team to verify. We supply loan copies during the course, however candidates wishing to register with OFTEC will need to purchase copies.
Arboriculture is an exciting, challenging and sometimes dangerous working environment, and we feel that the only way to ensure that people are properly prepared for this work is for it to be taught by people who actually do it for a living. Here, we pride ourselves on providing the best training experience that we can. We endeavour to make our courses informative, entertaining and fulfilling and whether you are at the start of your arboricultural career, or are joining us to refresh your knowledge or retrain, we will make sure that you get the most appropriate and up to date training for your needs.
Any candidate undertaking the individual appliance assessments must hold an appropriate industrial/commercial core gas safety qualification or relevant changeover qualification. Please see details below. For Gas Safe registered installers (who have been registered for a minimum of 6 months) without the pre-requisites, we offer a training course to enable installers to undertake commercial gas assessments. Please note that proof of previous qualifications is required to confirm your booking. Please click below to upload and send your certification onto a member of our team to verify.
Matthew Bastyan is the first person in the country to have achieved a Distinction through the Lantra end point assessment in the Level 2 Arborist standard. Matthew said I am extremely chuffed to have completed the apprenticeship with a Distinction. I enjoyed the course and have learnt a lot that has driven me to learn more and develop in the field of Arboriculture. Buckfast Abbey have said of Matthew's achievement, We are delighted that Matt he has passed his Arborist's apprenticeship with a distinction, no more than he deserves for all his hard work.

I was lucky enough to get talking to Leah from the Plymouth branch through the Facebook page 'plymouth gossip girls' after asking for advice of business admin apprenticeships. Leah contacted me right away after I gave her my number and got me in the office for a chat and to complete the application process. The same day a opportunity for a job came up and Leah thought this would be an amazing opportunity for me so we went for it, the first job I applied for, got a interview and got the job! I was really concerned about a new job venture due to having 2 young children and I am forever doubting myself but Leah gave me lots of encouragement and all the information she could, and here I am doing it, I've began my journey in business admin and I am thoroughly enjoying it! Thank you so much Leah! I'm looking forward to continuing my course whilst working, and along with my training consultant, Fay from focus, who is also very lovely!
