It's come to our intention that some people in the local area are being targeted by scammers pretending to be from BT. They start by warning you of a scam (ironically!) and attempt to connect to your PC remotely, finally trying to take a payment for said "service". It goes without saying that any contact like this is suspicious and hence you should simply put the phone down & ignore any subsequent attempts to contact you.
