There is a real benefit in Gerda's Fire Door Maintenance Programme, as Gerda has designed and developed the product range. With the introduction of the (Regulatory Reform) Fire Safety Order 2005 the 'Responsible Person' or 'Persons' must ensure the safety from fire of all relevant persons. As fire doors form an important part of a building structure's compartmentation, it is important that they are well-maintained and in good working order.

The Gerda H System® and the Gerda Barrier gate lock system® are separate high performance locking systems for different applications. Improving access management while enabling immediate Fire & Rescue Service access through the unique Gerda One Key® System. The H System® offers flexibility in how an organisation can tailor their security requirements for areas of restricted access, in particular for services and utilities rooms. The Barrier gate lock system assists in managing vehicular access on estates and sites.

The Premises Information Box™ (PIB)® is a system designed to assist in protecting an organisation's building and assets. For new building design as well as existing, there is an ever present need to provide information on contents and layout as well as hazardous materials to the Fire & Rescue Service. The Premises Information Box™ (PIB)® Systems offer a recognised focal point for the provision of premises plans and information to attending fire crews in the event of an incident through their unique Gerda One Key® system.
