Our roof lanterns and other rooflights are manufactured using state of the art structural silicone glazing techniques. These techniques allow us to manufacture our low pitch 30 degree frameless roof lantern with glass to glass joints and without the need for internal framework to the hips or ridge, creating one of the slimmest roof lanterns on the market. Our Octagonal roof lantern is low pitch and frameless adopting the same technology as our lantern and pyramid rooflights which means it has no internal hip framework ensuring that the maximum amount of natural light is able to penetrate the room beneath.

Duplus was started back in 1957 designing, manufacturing and installing industry leading domed and glass rooflights. Throughout the decades we have continued to develop and improve our products. Our extensive knowledge, expertise and attention to quality has defined us as a market leader in rooflight technology and products. Within our product range we have our own thermally broken aluminium curtain walling system - ‘Lightspan'. Initially developed over 30 years ago we have continued to improve this system to comply and exceed the latest regulations in terms of thermal and structural performance.

Roof lanterns are an alternative to flat glass rooflights. The glass is angled to a pitch creating two triangular end pieces and two trapezoidal long sides which create the distinctive roof lantern shape. Our roof lanterns have a distinct and unique design that utilises the latest state-of-the-art technology in structural silicone glazing. The advantage of this market-leading technology enables us to produce a product which has frameless glass to glass hip and ridge joints, creating one of the slimmest sightlines on the market.
